In my infinite wisdom, I decided to take today as holiday and have spent much of it facing down gale force winds.
But, thankfully there have also been moments of lovely autumn sunshine.
Another benefit (or perhaps that should be danger!) of having a day off on a blustery day is having time to sit in the comfort of the sofa and idly surf the net with a wistful eye for potential purchases.
Following last year’s big freeze, I’m determined to be ready for the elements this winter. I’ve already got my eye on this cosy, comfy coat by Berghaus, and I most definitely heart Sorel boots, shame I have my eyes on at least 3 pairs – decisions, decisions…
With the wedding hoopla finished, we can now also turn our attention to the house, and our wishlist is getting longer by the day, starting with some gorgeous wallpaper:
On the left, Jelly & Cake wallpaper by Thornback & Peel (for the kitchen methinks), and on the right, Whitby wallpaper in Lido by miniModerns (appropriate given where we live and very gorgeous), best not tell the bank manager though… ah well, a girl can dream.
