Flock of seagulls

I’m beginning to think we may have taken the seaside theme in our bathroom a tad too far…. ….what do you think? Although I think there is room for inflatable seabirds in any home!  Surely it’s bound to catch on?

On my walk this morning…

… absentee ducks, greedy caterpillars and blustery winds. Those very hungry caterpillars have been at my cabbages again, creating lace-like leaves on their way (it seems even coffee grounds don’t affect their appetites). No ducks this morning sadly, no doubt they were being sensible, staying warm indoors.

Sloe and steady

Piercing 1 kilo of sloe berries with a pin…. I may be some time! Several pinpricks and two hours later…. and we have 3 bottle of sloe gin, and one gin-jar (for the leftovers hic!). Just have to be patient now…
